Paint-like until it matters.

Hempafire Optima 510 is a very low-VOC, one-component waterborne acrylic thin-film intumescent coating. On structural steel it stays thin and paint-like — until a fire. Under heat it swells into a thick insulating char that keeps the steel below its critical temperature, protecting the structure against cellulosic fires and buying vital time to evacuate.

Being waterborne and one-component, it is straightforward to apply, and it is optimised for efficient on-site application.
