Hempafire Pro 400
A one-component, solvent-borne, physically drying intumescent coating for interior and exterior structural steel.
Hempafire Pro 400 is a one-component, solvent-borne, physically drying intumescent coating for passive fire protection of structural steel against cellulosic fires. Because it dries physically as the solvent evaporates, it builds a tough film quickly and tolerates a wide range of working conditions.
That makes it a versatile choice for both in-shop and on-site work — and, unlike the waterborne range, it is suited to exterior exposure as well as interiors.
Intumescent fire protection for structural steel in interior and exterior service conditions — up to Type X (EAD 350402-00-1106 / EN 16623) and C4 (ISO 12944-2). Optimised for R90 and R120, in the shop and on site. Suitable for:
- ✓ I-section beams
- ✓ H columns
- ✓ Hollow sections
- ✓ Cellular beams
It can also be used as a repair and touch-up coat for damaged areas of freshly applied Pro 400.
